What Garment Washing is?

The process which is used to modify the appearance, outlook, comfortability and fashion of
the garments. It is normally done after stitching . Wash types usually depend on the product
nature and its usage.

Objective of Apparel Wash

Each wash type serves different purposes like creating a faded look, softening fabrics,
improving colourfastness or removing dirt. Garment washing provided benefits such as
removing sizing, creating various fashionable looks, preventing further shrinkage, and
lowering initial investment costs for garment business.

To introduce fading effect –

Dye or pigment in the garment is washed out by washing which introduce fading effects in fabric.

To create new fashion –

The washing process of garment brings a different outlook (faded, color tinted etc.) of garments which are used for creating.
